These stories were written on deadline for WUFT.org, Gainesville’s NPR and PBS affiliate. My schedule as a freelance was turning in a story every two weeks, and I researched ideas, recorded interviews, cut audio for radio and edited other students’ works during my time at the newsroom. Working there made me acclimate to a quickly moving news environment and helped me learn to multi-task between projects.
